Khashayar Vaezi
MSc.
Doctoral Researcher
Khashayar Vaezi is a doctoral researcher in the Fibre and Particle Engineering Research Unit at the University of Oulu. He is strongly enthusiastic about environmental issues and finding solutions for them. He received his bachelor's degree in the field of Wood and Paper Engineering, in 2015 and his master's degree in the field of Pulp and Paper industrial Engineering in 2019.
His Master's thesis was about the production of cationic starch bio nanocomposite films reinforced with montmorillonite and cellulose nanocrystals for food packaging applications.
He is currently working on the effect of lignin on high-yield fibre property formation, which should lead to less emission from the pulping process.
