Md. Ziaul Hoque is pursuing his research majoring in machine learning and deep learning driven AI-based solutions to support personalized clinical diagnostic or therapeutic decisions under the supervision of Prof. Tapio Seppänen at University of Oulu, Finland. He is currently supervising programming exercises of four regular courses in the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. He also holds a position as a technical supervisor for Doctoral and Master's thesis projects.
Besides, Ziaul conducted his international research visit at University of Florida, USA. Previously, he worked and published joint research papers with the University of Alberta, Canada and University at Buffalo, USA. Apart from this, he has been awarded several encouragement and mobility grants by different prestigious research foundations in Finland. His expertise encompasses medical image analysis, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, making significant strides in bridging the gap between advanced technology and practical applications in healthcare.
