Mohsin Iqbal Khan is a Project Researcher at the Centre for Wireless Communications – Networks and Systems (CWC-NS) research unit, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE), University of Oulu, Finland. He received his M.Sc. degree in Wireless Communications Engineering from the University of Oulu in 2025 and his B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Electrical Systems from the University of Lahore, Pakistan.

His research focuses on spectrum occupancy and channel measurement analysis for private 5G networks in critical hospital environments, including operating rooms, cardio labs, and neuro-patient wards. His work contributes to enabling interference-free, reliable wireless connectivity for mission-critical healthcare applications through real-world measurement campaigns, electromagnetic safety evaluations, and data-driven performance analysis.

He has contributed to the Hola 5G! project at CWC-NS, focusing on private 5G network deployments in healthcare in close collaboration with hospital partners, clinicians, and multidisciplinary research teams. His current work is also aligned with the WEALTH research theme (Wireless System-Level Architectures for Future Digital Healthcare), which develops communication architectures for digital healthcare use cases, bridging cutting-edge wireless technologies with real-world clinical needs.

Before joining CWC-NS, he gained seven years of professional experience as a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer on ZTE telecommunications projects, where he specialized in wireless network deployment, optimization, and performance analysis across large-scale commercial networks.
