I am a Ph.D. researcher with an engineering in Biomedical Engineering. I have conducted scientific research, obtained practical expertise using patient data from different, and developed deep learning pipelines aimed at solving image classification, segmentation, and quality assessment tasks. My areas of expertise include:
- Biomedical engineering and applied mathematics, with a focus on medical imaging and computational methods.
- Deep learning in medical imaging, specifically in developing and implementing models such as U-Net and Multi-filter Multi-scale U-Net for CBCT image reconstruction.
- Previous experience with NVIDIA Clara platform for GPU-accelerated deep learning, optimizing large-scale clinical datasets for efficient and accurate medical imaging.
- Utilization of real-world clinical data from diagnostic systems, including the collection and processing of large datasets for training and validation.
- Integration and implementation of AI models with Planmeca systems, ensuring direct clinical applicability and deployment in medical workflows.
- Strong background in Python programming, specializing in libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch for deep learning applications.
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems, including setting up secure and scalable environments for sensitive medical data.
- Project management, overseeing multidisciplinary collaborations with hospitals, research institutions, and industry partners.
- Academic writing, including publications in the fields of medical imaging and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning across medical imaging modalities, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency.
