Water TestBed in collaboration with Oulun Vesi

I am a specialized researcher with dual master's degrees in hydrogeology and geology, focusing on the innovative intersection of remote sensing, hydrogeomorphology, and environmental management. My academic journey has been characterized by advanced research in flood analysis and nature-based solutions, with significant projects including a comprehensive study on the application of remote sensing techniques to flood dynamics and a detailed modeling approach for evaluating nature-based solutions at the catchment scale, specifically demonstrated in the Oulanka catchment.

My research expertise centers on developing sophisticated methodologies for understanding water-related environmental challenges, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to analyze and predict hydrological processes. By integrating remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and environmental modeling, I aim to contribute meaningful insights into sustainable water management strategies. My work bridges theoretical knowledge with practical applications, with a particular emphasis on flood risk assessment, catchment-scale interventions, and innovative approaches to mitigating environmental water-related risks.
