My scholarly research at the University of Oulu explores spatial hydraulic and hydrological connectivity in sub-arctic regions, focusing on stream temperature fluctuations and carbon cycling within the Lompolojängänoja (Pallas) catchment in Northern Finland, aims to deepen our understanding of ecohydrological processes in boreal ecosystems under changing climate conditions. As a visiting researcher at the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE), our research bridges hydrology, ecology, and climate science, contributing to advancements in sustainable water resource management for northern landscapes.
