Riku Andersson

I work as a doctoral researcher in the Fibre and Particle Engineering research unit. My research focuses on the chemical modification of lignocellulose and its effect on the different structures inside the wood. For characterizing the structure and properties of wood material, I focus on NMR-spectroscopy. The main goal of my research is to advance pulping processes and methods, and thus reduce harmful emissions and carbon dioxide emissions.
