I work as a University teacher in University of Oulu, Finland. My research focus is on early childhood education and childhood studies, especially in young children's multimodal narration, relations, agency and emotional safety. I have been as a researcher in many projects concerning children's narrative practices (TelLis 2010-2013), early childhood educational policy (VakaVai 2016-2017) and emotion regulation support (TunTuVa 2019-2022). Currently, I am researching injustice childhood memories and, how children construct emotional safety in day care context.
