Foundation for Economic Education grants to Sara Moqaddamerad, Sari Sarome-Nykänen and Sari Perätalo

The Foundation for Economic Education (Liikesivistysrahasto), founded in 1919, promotes research in business and economics by awarding grants and scholarships. High-quality research in business and economics is seen to enhance competitiveness both today and in the future.

In their 2018 application round altogether 354 grants were provided, amounting to as much as 3 311 850 euros. Several grants were awarded to Oulu Business School persons. Among these were three doctoral students of Martti Ahtisaari Institute.

Sara Moqaddamerad got a grant for her study on Designing novel business models on the verge of emerging and disruptive technologies: Case of 5G mobile communications networks. Her supervisors are Pia Hurmelinna-Laukkanen, Petri Ahokangas, Veikko Seppänen and Andy Hines.

Sari Sarome-Nykänen got a grant for her study on Corporation metamorphosis through network changing agents: Case of outsourcing and automation. Her supervisors are Veikko Seppänen, Jari Juga and Teea Palo.

Sari Perätalo got a grant to take part in an international conference in New York. Her supervisors are Petri Ahokangas and Anne Keränen.
