The Foundation for Economic Education  supports research in business and economics by awarding grants and scholarships. In November 2021 the foundation awarded altogether 266 grants, totaling to 4 437 700 euros.

The Foundation for Economic Education supports research in business and economics by awarding grants and scholarships. In November 2021 the foundation awarded altogether 266 grants, totaling to 4 437 700 euros.

Grants were provided to several researchers of Martti Ahtisaari Institute.

Raushan Aman got a grant for her study ”Migrant women entrepreneurship and the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem”, Mahmoud Mohamed for his study ”Ecosystemic Big Data Platform Business Models for Connected Health”, Sara Moqaddamerad for her study ”Business Model Innovation on the Verge of Emerging Disruptive Technologies”, and Irina Atkova a grant of 30 000 euros for her post-doc study “Managing Tensions in Transitioning towards Sustainable Business Model”.

Moreover, professor Satu Nätti of the Oulu Business School received one of the foundation’s research group grants, amounting to 70 000 euros, for a multi-disciplinary study of meta skills related to the collaboration of virtual teams.
