An innovative solution for electric mobility
The current electrification state of the world is at 85.3%. Growing energy demands and dependence on fossil fuel have become a global issue. EU has recently announced its ambitious clean energy goals, which requires an increase in the energy efficiency target from 27% to 30%, a cut in emissions by 40% and a goal of 27% renewables in final consumption.
Electric mobility is becoming one of the key categories in end-energy consumption and growing. For example, the global electric car stock surpassed 2 million vehicles in 2016 and is expected to reach 13 million by 2020.
The research team addresses a proprietary low-cost solution that can transform and digitalize the existing and future electric charging infrastructure. The solution will utilize the next generation communication technology to enable the adoption and use of electric mobility in an economic way.
