Investing in real estate and business premise services

The most recent of the projects, called Virpa D, aimed at experimenting with user experiences in the context of commercial properties. New integrated services were intended to facilitate users’ everyday lives. The project explored how operations-based environments could be realized in future workplaces, how the environment would promote well-being at work and how smart spaces would support productivity and make daily work smoother.

The project involved four different ecosystems, ten partner companies and four research institutions. It was carried out during 2018 and 2019 and its total budget was 6.3 million euros. The project was funded by Business Finland and the project participants.
