Irina Atkova’s research on business resilience among top 10 most-cited papers in Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal
The research applies resilience theory to analyze how international firms adjust their business models (BMs) in response to environmental shocks. Based on a multiple-case study, the findings reveal that businesses develop various dynamic states of their BMs during the resilience process. Each state is characterized by different levels of business model change and innovation, with shifts driven by the firms' ability to develop resilience capabilities.
