MAI meets CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and visits Finnish Parliament

Martti Ahtisaari Institute and EU-funded Marie Curie LNETN research project, managed by the institute, with participants from five European universities met with the management and experts of the CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and visited the Finnish Parliament.

The meeting with CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation management and experts covered the topics of social sustainability, digital mediation and the societal impact of digitalisation in general. We also shared together warm memories and experiences from the career of our founder, President Ahtisaari. We also discussed opportunities for future cooperation.

On our visit to Finnish Parliament, Member of Parliament Tytti Tuppurainen and her assistants welcomed our group. We discussed the most pressing current social issues with MP Tuppurainen. During the visit, our group also had the opportunity to learn about the impressive history and architecture of the Parliament House.

We warmly thank everyone for the inspiring and thought-provoking visits. We also look forward to future collaboration with CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and our institute board member, MP Tuppurainen.
