Raushan Aman joins the institute

Raushan Aman joins Martti Ahtisaari Institute from the beginning of April, 2019. Being originated from Kazakhstan, she got her Master´s degree with distinction in Project Management at Royal Holloway, University of London, in September 2014.

Being originated from Kazakhstan, she got her Master´s degree with distinction in Project Management at Royal Holloway, University of London, in September 2014. Her research focused on change management in enterprise resource planning implementations.

She started her doctoral studies at the University of Oulu in 2018, addressing the motivation behind migrant female entrepreneurs´ decision to be self-employed in their host country.

By applying the mixed embeddedness theory in her research, she will explore how individual personal factors, emerging opportunity structures and the institutional environment of migrant women entrepreneurs affect their self-employment decisions.
